Don't ask about the title, just read this book. P.S. The video poem made me cry.
So High School is hard. No surprise there. It's been, what, about a month? I haven't gone to bed before midnight since school began. I'm sick this week. I've been out since Friday. Mom took all my books away. I should be reading this. I think I'll get this. I have a week and a half to finish 110 chapters. Wish me luck.
My Birthday is coming up soon. October 4. I just want this and this. Though Squall, thank goodness for her, is getting me Polio for the blessed anniversary of my birth.
I'm watching Single White Female right now. It has yet to get too creepy, but I'm ready for it when it does. *hugs giant stuffed Ugly Doll* Squall and I have been having a fit lately reading My Life Is Average. They're too funny!
I really should be getting to my work...I have a major English project due on Friday. I really need to work on it...It has to do with The Count of Monte Cristo, like everything in that class seems to, but I should be able to do it. I just need to finish up. I'm about a 7th of the way through...
I have a swim meet on Saturday. I'm not actually swimming in it, but Coach Mel says that everyone has to go to encourage "team spirit" or something like that. Maybe I'll sing Nirvana on the bus ride there. *devious smile*
Oh, in other news: I got glasses! They're purple rimmed, as if you couldn't have guessed. Also, if I hadn't mentioned it previously, I got my braces off in August. I have very nice straight teeth now.
Speaking of straight, and how I'm not, the only person at my school that knows for sure that I'm a lesbian is my English teacher. How weird is that? Oh, and I joined the GSA. I heard tell of one meeting, but I couldn't get and exact date/time/location. I have the greatest friends, by the way. On club fair day, when I came back upstairs to have lunch with them, they all asked me out of the blue if I had joined the GSA. I told them, "Hells yes!" We high-fived. It was pretty awesome.
Before I go, let me give you a brief overview of my schedule. :)
First I have Biology Pre-AP with Ms. Branchizio. She's pretty cool. She often hits kids with a rolled up magazine, and she says "diabetus" instead of "diabetes" just like the Liberty Medical Walrus Dude.
Second, I have Geometry Pre-AP. (How they can call it that, I do not know. It's painfully easy. That's why I keep failing the homework. ;]) Anyway, Ms. Thomas is pretty cool, except sometimes I get this weird vibe from her...
Third is Human Geography AP with Mr. Ostos. I'm earning college credit in that class, so it's super hard. Somehow, it's oddly fun, even though Ostos scares the crap out of me sometimes.
Fourth it's off to Lain 1 with Mr. Bray. I used to take Spanish 1, but I transferred due to the complete lack of challenge from the class. I like Latin a lot. It's not really that hard, and I have a lot of fun in that class.
Then I have lunch. Not much to say about that. We eat in the upstairs north hallway. It's pretty awesome.
Fifth I have Theatre Arts 1 with Mr. O. I was in Art 1, but I was in 4th period Art 1, and 5th period Spanish 1. When I transferred to 4th period Latin 1, I discovered that there was not a 5th period Art 1. This disappointed me greatly. So I now take Theatre Arts 1. It's okay. The people in it are strange, and the class itself is strange. But what can you do? Oh, well, my Mom was a theatre major, so supposedly it's in my blood.
Sixth Period I have English Pre-AP with Mrs. Caldwell. I like her a lot. She's kind of harsh, and kind of strict, but really funny and super nice. That's one of my favorite classes.
Last, seventh period, I have JV Swimming. First period (Varsity) is for fast kids, 7th is for slower kids. I'm slower because I've been out of practice for two years. It's a pretty cool class. I have a friend named Amanda in that class, and she's really great. We swim in the same lane, and we're always joking around and talking. We never seem to get caught by Coach Mel, though. *shrug*
Well, I guess that's about it for today. I'm sure this is a super long post. Congratulations if you read this far. Here, have a cookie. *hands you a cookie* Have a nice day! Stay well! Don't get Swine Flu. (This kid in a bunch of my classes has it. He is British. His name is Nathaniel. But that is a story for another day.) Have a happy Wednesday! Hump Day! Bisexual day! Week! Weekend! Month! Year! Decade! Etc, etc, etc! Love you all! Ciao! Until Next Time! -me
