Yesterday, I went to the doctor and had blood drawn! Yay! And I don't mean the prick-your-finger kind, either. I mean the stick-a-needle-in-your-vein-and-suck-out-blood kind. I wouldn't let them do it at first. I cried. Yes, I am completely willing to tell you I cried and crossed my arms like a six-year-old. But they stuck me with a little needle called a butterfly in a hugemongous vein in my hand, and they were right. It actually does hurt less than getting your finger pricked. I also have this cool little hole thing in my hand where they drew blood from. They are testing for: Mononucleosis, (Yes, mono, that's right, the kissing disease. In fact, when my Mom heard that she made comments about me and Tanner, to which I proceeded to laugh hysterically. It almost made me come out. But not quite.) anemia, and a thyroid deficiency. Then afterwords, Mom took me shopping. :)
Today I went to the orthodontist, and they told me what torture they will inflict on me in the next 7 months. Then for a year after I have to constantly wear a retainer for my top teeth, then I have to wear it when I sleep for like 5 years after, then I have a permanent retainer on the bottom for life. Yay.
But, ya'know, whatever. It's no biggie. I just hope the doctors find out what's wrong with me so I can feel better.
Okay, I should go now. I'm really tired. I think I'll take another nap. G'night (G'day?) -me
